Welcome to Ms. Garvey's PE & Health Class.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is hard to believe that summer is over and the 2023-2024 school year is about to begin! My name is Alena Garvey and I will be your child’s Health & Physical education teacher. In order to have a safe and productive learning environment, there are a few things I’d like to share with you. 

Your child will have ONE physical education class and ONE health class per week. Please be aware of which days your child is assigned and remember to have your child wear sneakers and appropriate clothes (pants/shorts).

This year your child will participate in basic movement education, manipulative skills, physical fitness and activity, individual skill development, and cooperative development. A basic classroom procedure will be followed each time your child enters the gymnasium.
