Ms Unkle’s 7th grade students researched topics related to Martin Luther King, Jr’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech and the 1963 March on Washington. Sophie Palmer researched Mahalia Jackson, who urged King to share about his dream, which he’d mentioned in a previous speech. Joe Jacquelin researched Bob Dylan, who performed at the 1963 March. Logan Mills researched fashion of the early 60s, and Laura Daino created an infographic of the geographic locations mentioned in MLK, Jr’s speech. #dtschoolsrock
