Mrs. Mathews’ and Mrs. Curvan’s classes joined together to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for South Jersey residents in need. These 2nd and 3rd grade “learning buddies” drafted and shared instructional essays outlining the steps for making PB&J sandwiches. The focused on the appropriate use of temporal words. Then, they worked together to make 165 sandwiches by following the steps in their writing pieces. #dtschoolsrock
