Dennis Township School District would like to formally welcome music teacher Mr. Michael Saul to our family.
Saul grew up in Millville and currently resides in Vineland. He started teaching band and chorus in 2011 at R.D Wood School in Millville and transferred to Rieck Avenue Elementary in 2013, while also working as an assistant for the Millville Marching Band.
Outside of school, Saul likes to cook, fish, and spend time with his family - his wife, Carly and 1 year old daughter, Stella. They have two dogs, Olive and Georgia, who drive them crazy. Stella especially loves feeding the dogs and giving them her toys, which they love to bury in the backyard when she isn't looking.
Saul started playing saxophone when he was 10, and loves teaching students about jazz and the blues.
When asked about his time in Dennis Township, Saul said “Dennis Township has been amazing so far, everyone here is very friendly and welcoming. Moving is difficult, but the students and staff here don't make it feel like a new place. It's always very exciting to be a part of a district that supports the arts and encourages students to pursue their creativity. I'm definitely looking forward to the future and am proud to be part of the Hawk family.” We, too, are looking forward to Saul as part of our future. #dtschoolsrock
