Dennis Township Hawkettes visited Gentilini Chevrolet on Monday, January 29 to learn the basics of car maintenance and what to do in an emergency. Technicians Donna Santagata and Alex Gaukler walked the girls through changing a tire, checking air pressure, checking fluids, and changing windshield wipers. Seventh grader Avery Campbell is “excited to show up her brother,” with her newfound skills. Sixth grader Isabelle Phillips says she “isn’t scared to get stuck on the side of the road, now,” and has more confidence when she starts driving.
