Every Friday, students in Dennis Township Elementary/Middle School have the opportunity to eat pancakes with the principal.
Principal Jamie VanArtsdalen came up with the idea as a way to promote breakfast for her students.
Breakfast is an important meal for students to be able to have the energy and endurance to focus and work hard in school all day.
By making breakfast a fun event once a week, she hopes to bring more students in to the cafeteria in a fun, social environment both for a good meal and to get to know her students better.
