March 2017 Employees of the Month for Dennis Township School District: 3rd grade teacher Alison Curvan and 5th grade teacher Jeanette Riggitano.
Being raised in Dennis Township gives Alison Curvan a different perspective on working in the district. She teaches third grade at the Primary School where her own children attend school while Curvan's own mother, Lisa Salimbene, works as a secretary in the Child Study Team. Veteran teacher Jeanette Riggitano teaches fifth grade and loves the grade level and the students. She has strong ties to Middle Township where her husband Frank is both high school principal and football coach.
Dennis Township Principal Jamie VanArtsdalen implemented the Employees of the Month program to recognize more employees for their hard work and dedication. Employees of the Month receive a certificate, use of a designated parking spot for the month and the acclaim of their administrator and colleagues.
