MTHS Principal Frank Riggitano gave the 8th graders in Dennis Township an overview of the academies available to students who attend Middle Township High School: business, STEM, medicine and health, and performing arts. Students who fulfill their academy requirements will receive an additional certificate upon graduating high school in addition to their regular diploma. Teachers involved in the academies presented information about each one before MTHS academy students walked around to the tables answering questions for interested 8th graders. Many 8th grade students felt that they learned something from the presentation and were impressed by the offerings from MTHS. Several of the MTHS academy students were Dennis Township graduates, a couple with siblings in 8th grade.
