"This was an extraordinary group of young women to coach," states Coach Lisa Pettit. According to Pettit, these girls were hard-working, competitive and very talented. Their 7-1-0 record proves it as the Dennis Township Middle School Field Hockey team clinched a second championship in a row this year.
Assistant Coach Jessica Cox noted that the 8th graders on the team have only had one loss in their entire Dennis Township career. She also made special mention of Goalie Mackenzie Hand allowing only three goals this entire season, and listed the top players in offense, midfield and defense as Olivia Verdade, Kate Herlihy and Kylie Graham.
