The Dennis Township Education Association is pleased to announce that Lisa Salimbene has been selected as the Cape May County ESP of the Year for 2016-2017.
Salimbene, presently the Child Study Team secretary, has been with the Dennis Township School District since 1995. Starting as a cafeteria and recess aide, Salimbene became a school secretary in 1999 and has worked at both the Elementary/Middle and Primary schools. She and her husband Skip have three children, all of whom are Dennis Township School District graduates, and one of her daughters, Alison Curvan, teaches at the Primary school. Salimbene also serves on the Dennis Township Committee and has been involved in numerous community and school activities and organizations.
Salimbene will now be entered in the NJEA ESP of the Year competition. Last year, Betteann Kerr won both district and county ESP of the Year and competed at the state level.
