Idiom Parade

The third graders wrapped up their figurative language unit with an Idiom Parade! Students put their creativity to the test as they designed homemade costumes representing the literal interpretations of popular figures of speech such as “The cat is out of the bag”, “You’re a smart cookie”, and “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”. #dtschoolsrock
